Oh, the summertime.
Well, summer is over. It went by really fast this year, but it was a good one. I'm excited for next summer when all my friends and I will be able to drive. That should be nice, but that's a whole 10 months away. I'm glad I took so many pictures this summer. They should be fun to look at later on in the year. I think I learned a lot this summer and I think I grew in different ways because of all the camps or retreats I attended and just the people I put myself around. I also had some good conversations that I hope stay with me throughout the weeks and months to come. I'm going to miss being able to wake up whenever I want, just getting to lay around and do random stuff, but school should be good this year. I hope that my current friendships continue to grow and I hope I meet some cool new people. I'm trying not to start thinking too much about what this year is going to be like, because that's just a waste of time. I'm going to work on simply looking to God each day so that I can enjoy any of the surprises that come along. Goodbye summertime and hello to the new school year!
